Mission

We, the family of St. Peter's Parish, are a Catholic Christian community. We gather to worship, to learn, to serve, and to be Christ for one another in a living committment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

An update from your Parish Council

We're excited to share what we've been working on and to hear your thoughts. Together with Father Peter, we've identified three key Parish Priorities:

• Growth in Parish membership and participation
  
  • Welcoming new members and deepening engagement among current parishioners through vibrant worship, meaningful programs, and a strong sense of community.
• Maintaining properly and improving Church buildings
  • Caring for and improving our church buildings to ensure they remain beautiful, functional, and reflective of our faith for generations to come.
• Outreach
  • Expanding outreach efforts to serve those in need, build relationships, and live out our mission in the broader community.

Last year, the Parish Council, along with members from various ministries, came together for a half-day retreat. We discussed the needs of our Parish and collaborated to identify projects and activities that align with these priorities.

During this session, we brainstormed an impressive 93 project ideas!!

While we know it's not feasible to complete all 93 projects in a single year, the Council has been working hard to prioritze them and create a two-year action plan. Now, we need your input to bring these plans to life.

Work Groups

The ministry groups at St. Peter Catholic Church are the driving force behind our faith in action. Their tireless efforts unite our congregation and leadership to bring our beliefs to life through service, spiritual growth, and community transformation. Their work truly makes a lasting impact.

However, to accomplish some of these newly identified projects, we need more hands-on-deck. We have created three Work Groups which will shepherd these projects:

Brick & mortar Work group

(Proper Maintenance of Church Buildings)

The Vine & Branch Work Group

(Growth of the Parish)

The Bridge Builders Work Group

(Outreach)

While joining a ministry full-time may not be possible for everyone, you might consider joining a Work Group for a short-term project. All time contributions are welcome, from one hour to one year! Here are just a few of the exciting project ideas we've identified:
